In early December, we ventured out into the world to find our Christmas tree. Owen had been requesting a white Christmas tree, like the one they had on display at Target, but we felt confident that we could turn him on to the wonderful look and feel and
smell of a real North Carolina-grown Douglas Fir (last year, we found a spot here in Charleston that carries Douglas firs down from outside Boone).
We conducted a through interview of the trees until we found the absolute perfect one:

With our tree strapped to the top of the Subaru, we headed home.
