As of yesterday, I am six months pregnant and, according to my pregnancy updates, the baby now weighs over a pound and is about as long as an ear of corn! (mmm...some summer corn sounds really good right now.) His brain, lungs and taste buds are developing this week and his kicks are getting stronger by the day.We had great fun celebrating our fathers yesterday, including Bill Russell as a father-to-be (and already an exceptional father to Bruno)!
Like great corn in the midwest, this little guy could be almost knee high by the 4th of July! Probably does not feel like it to Lauren but it seems time is really flying now. What seemed far off a couple months ago is now (partially due to the kicking) feeling much closer and more and more exciting! I must say Lauren seems prettier each day and I don't think I have ever seen anyone prepare for fatherhood as much as Bill has been doing. Hate to tell you this Bill but the real learnings come "on the job"!

Mimi(aka Lynn) is so excited and ready for our little grandson to arrive. I am trying to control my spending, but have had much fun buying presents. In Florida, I saw a really neat pair of goggles with a fake shark head attached-I guess I need to wait until maybe next summer:)))
